After Care

Thank you for choosing Longmi Lashes. After application of eyelash extensions. Please wait at least 4 hours before any water contact to your eye area. To keep your new lashes looking lush and beautiful for as long as possible, please follow these instructions.

Itching and flaking may appear during the first week days post-microblading procedure. Following these after-care instructions will keep your skin and lashes looking healthy. The healing of deeper wounds might last between 14-21 days. Touch-ups and/or correction of the shape-design is recommended only after this period.

Your new set of Longmi Lashes should last 4-6 weeks.  As your eyelashes shed naturally, the extensions will also shed (the extensions are attached individually to your own lash).  On average, our clients get touch-ups once every 2-3 weeks.

First day:

  • Keep silicone Band-Aid on for 24 hours.

  • After 24 hours, wash gently using only fingertips with lukewarm water and mild (unscented) soap.

  • Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows and/or applying the post-care cream.

  • Rinse your eyebrows with clean water on every hour after the microblading procedure, followed by the post-care cream.

  • Aquaphor is recommended, and is available in the skin care section of any drug store.

  • Apply the post-care cream with a cotton swab. Use gentle movements to apply.

For the Week:

  • Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap prior to washing your eyebrows and/or applying the post care cream.

  • Leave dry (recommended for oily skin) or apply post-care cream: Aquaphor, Grapeseed Oil, Hustle Butter

  • Apply the post-care cream with a cotton swab. Use gentle movements to apply.

  • Before showering, apply a layer of post-care cream to protect your eyebrows.

  • Be careful not to aim the stream towards your eyebrows.

Do This:

  • Use oil-free make-up removers (use cotton swabs to carefully clean around the eyes)

  • Separate/comb lashes from middle to tip

  • Wear goggles for swimming and sauna use

  • Use contact lens solution and eye drops if needed (they will not harm your extensions)

  • Rinse your lashes at least every other day.

  • For Special Events: Apply eyeliner above and away from the roots of your extensions.

  • Apply only non-waterproof mascara to the tips.

Do Not This:

  • Steam Face, use steam bath.sauna, or swim within the first 2 days

  • Perm/tint the extensions

  • Rub, pick, pull out, or play with extensions

  • Use any cream, oil-based, or lotion products on extensions

  • Get close to heated appliance such as: ovens, hair-dryers.
